Council Bluffs, Iowa · 501(c)(3) nonprofit

Middle schoolers who design, build, code, and compete.

Junior Lynx Robotics is a volunteer-run nonprofit that organizes competitive youth robotics teams, giving students hands-on experience with engineering, programming, and teamwork.

What we do

Real engineering, one season at a time

Each season, our teams take on a new game challenge. Students work together to design a robot, build and test it, program it, and bring it to competition, with volunteer coaches and mentors alongside them.

Our mission

Junior Lynx Robotics provides middle school students in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with hands-on education in engineering, programming, and teamwork through competitive youth robotics programs.

Design & build

Students sketch, prototype, and iterate on a competition robot using real parts, tools, and engineering design practices.

Program

Teams write the code that drives their robot, from driver control to autonomous routines.

Compete

Teams test their work against other schools at sanctioned youth robotics competitions across the region.

Grow together

Coaches and mentors help students build communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills that carry well beyond robotics.
